and silvered metal Bavarian officer's cockade over a thick silver bullion wreath and black republican eagle cockade, and
a silver bullion chin cord with pebbled side buttons. Lined in black silk with a silver leaf embossed maker's label
"
OFFIZIER KLEIDERKASSE / BERLIN / EREL / BERLIN" and a leather sweatband with an old collection label "6"
taped to the obverse. Cap has light service wear and age fading, a few chips on the edge finish of the visor and the
stitching is loose on the rear half of the sweatband, no significant mothing. A rare cap! II

Reichswehr Bavarian Infantry Officer's M1927 Visor Cap

Field gray wool twill crown with pea green insignia cloth band, green piping and black Vulkanfiber visor. Obverse has
black and white painted metal Prussian NCO pattern cockade over a silvered metal wreath and black and gold
republican eagle cockade. A later Third Reich era aluminum bullion chin cord with pebbled side buttons have replaced
the black leather chinstrap that would be correct for this cap. Lined in olive cotton with a black ink size stamp "54"
under a celluloid sweat shield and a leather sweatband with issue markings on the underside. Cap has no discernible
mothing. A rare cap in the history of German uniforms. II

Sattelform cap of field gray doeskin with bottle green band and white piping. Has black Vulkanfiber visor, brown on
the reverse, and an aluminum chin cord. Obverse with aluminum army eagle insignia and an aluminum bullion wreath
on dark green wool with metal national cockade. Interior lined in light gray satin, sweat shield has been removed, with
a leather sweatband. No discernible mothing but the cap shows service wear, the band is out of round, lining is soiled
and the sweatband is torn at the front. II-

wool with metal national cockade. Interior lined in cream colored rayon with a composition sweatband. No
discernible mothing and only light service wear. II

Teller pattern cap of field gray doeskin with bottle green band and orange piping. Has black Vulkanfiber visor, tan on
the reverse, and an aluminum chin cord with black horn anchor embossed side buttons. Obverse with a silvered zinc
army eagle insignia, placed over the 'ghost' where a bullion eagle was once sewn, and an aluminum bullion wreath and
cockade on dark green wool. Interior lined in tan satin, sweat shield broken with only part of the maker's mark
remaining, and a coated paper sweatband. Has mothing on sections of the piping, most are not visible when displayed,
and the cap shows a little more than moderate service wear, the band is out of round and the sweatband is torn with
loss of a large section and loose stitching. II-

complete with Czech five pad white leather liner, maker marked and dated "36", lack the chinstrap. II

Model 1940 steel helmet has 75% dark gray finish blending with patina, left side has Army eagle decal with 80%
remaining. Interior has dusty but pliable M31 liner and original black leather chinstrap, all original and Pecard-free.
Side has size marking with "EF" maker stamp of Emaillerwerk AG. Has some light finish oxidation on the interior
skirt and interior of the crown. Has that 'just out of the attic' feel to it - a good helmet that has remained unmolested
since it came home as a GI's WWII souvenir. II-

cm overall with 81cm slightly curved, fullered blade in excellent polish. Ricasso has Ernst Pack & Söhne maker's
trademark. Hilt has brass guard with nice oak and acanthus leaf decorative embellishments, featuring large national
eagle emblem on the obverse langet. Ribbed, contoured black composition grip has wire wrap intact, has a crack in the
black material just under the pommel. Brass retains much of it's fire gilt finish. Single ring type scabbard retains 85%
japanned black finish. Scabbard is missing one of the two small screws holding the throat portion in place. II
