Online Show #8!
For our US customers: HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY
As new sellers get geared up and start adding new items, we are also working on adding new features for our existing sellers that will allow them to spice up their show tables a bit. At AGM, we get a lot of extra attention when we start cutting prices on items that have been around for a while.. so we are working to allow Online Show sellers easy access to their active listings so they can adjust prices whenever they feel like having a sale themselves. We don't have these modifications ready for everybody just yet, but in testing, I took the opportunity to slash prices on the uniforms, helmets, and insignia that we still have from the big Spanish Civil War collection that we sold a few catalogs ago. Those remaining items were some of the first Online Show test subjects, and now they can serve in that capacity one last time. Most of the reductions are 50% off!
In addition, there are new sellers, and plenty of NEW items to view on Monday's show.

In case you are just now joining us, here is how it works:
-
After logging in, click on the big button for the Online Militaria Show.
-
From the show lobby, you can enter the show. It opens to Insiders and sellers at 3:00; everyone else at 4:00. Since this is new and will take some time to gain momentum, we have extended free trial Insider subscriptions for all registered users on our site, so while we get this going, everybody gets in early.
-
The show is a gallery view of items for sale. When you see something you like, click on the image to bring up the item page.
-
The item page gives you information about the seller, their shipping costs, where they will (or will not) mail items, as well as their return policy and payment preferences.
-
If you want to purchase an item, click "buy now", which sends an email to the seller and the buyer, with each other's contact information. You simply conclude the transaction between yourselves.
On the May 27 show, items include:
This week's show features our largest item so far - a very nice 'turnkey' restoration 1942 Willys Jeep offered by our friends Larry & Terri Stewart. Every collector of WWII militaria dreams about owning one of these some day, but who has the time to do a frame-up restoration? Fortunately, somebody does.. so the rest of us are hunting Jeeps like this one - an example in excellent running condition, which has cared for by an experienced military vehicles mechanic.
Other items include a number of US Purple Heart medals and medal groups, several historic autographs, WWI and WWII US shoulder patches, Imperial German headgear, medal bars, steins, shoulder straps, WWII German helmets, soft caps, documents, badges, insignia, and accoutrements. One of the premier collectors of WWI headgear continues to sell scarce Imperial Russian enlisted headgear, and much, much more.
If you have items to sell and wish to participate in upcoming shows, you can apply for a seller's table under "subscriptions" on the AGM site. This is not an auction. It is the online version of a Militaria Show. If you describe and photograph your items well, and price them reasonably, they will SELL. Best yet, there are NO COMMISSIONS and NO FEES. The only cost involved is an Insider Membership and a Table purchase - $115 total per year.
Over the past few years we have invested countless hours and no small amount of $$ to develop what is (at the risk of being immodest) one of the very best militaria sales venues on the web. NOW, we want to share it with you. This is no longer simply the AGM website. It belongs to our customers as much as it does to us. We will still put out 4 regular AGM catalogs per year as usual, but the other 48 weeks are yours!
With your participation, we can make this as fun and rewarding as any of your favorite Militaria Shows... only this one happens every week, and you don't have to invest a fortune in gas and hotel rooms! I hope you will join us. If you have any questions feel free to call at 1-800-233-1918.
